Why I Photograph Love Across the Map (And My Ultimate Travel Bucket List)

There is something sacred about photographing a couple in a place that reflects the heart of their love story. This recent session, from the crashing waves at Baker Beach to the cliffs of Yosemite, stirred something deep in me.

Barefoot in the tide, wrapped in laughter, then later holding each other above a canyon at sunset, this was the kind of love that feels hand-picked by God. The kind that reminds me this work is holy. Not just art, but calling. Not just posing, but storytelling. Not just a backdrop, but a place where heaven kisses earth.

I am a wedding and engagement photographer who loves creating meaningful, emotional, and stunning images in breathtaking places. But more than that, I love photographing people who are deeply in love and unafraid to chase what God has for them.

These are the places that have been calling me for years. Some are full of elegance, others full of culture, and all of them are rich in story. If you are planning a destination session or wedding in any of these locations, I am all in.

Dream Locations in Texas (Outside DFW)

These are locations I have not shot at yet but would love to.

If you are planning something adventurous, scenic, or deeply personal in Texas but outside the DFW area, these are the places on my list. Each has a unique feel that aligns with my style and creative direction. Travel fees apply and cover mileage, time, and lodging when needed.

Prada Marfa – Marfa, Texas

Why Travel Photography Matters to Me

It is more than a passport stamp or a beautiful view. It is about capturing the sacred. It is about documenting a moment that reflects the adventure of love and the faithfulness of God.

All sessions outside the DFW area require a signed travel contract and 30% non-refundable retainer.
