Frequently Asked Questions
HOW MANY PHOTOS DO I GET?
Upon delivery, all clients will receive a gallery consisting of every image. These images will be edited to match the SHOTS BY LC style and brand guidelines. As long as the images meet the SHOTS BY LC brand standards of delivery, clients will receive all images. The package estimates are based on previous deliveries within those package orders and may vary slightly.
DO YOU ALLOW PAYMENTS?
Absolutely! We only require a 30% retainer fee to officially lock in your date. After that, we offer flexible, interest-free payment plans to make things easier. You can also pay using Klarna or Affirm through my secure payment system for added convenience.
WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?
We are happy to offer a credit equal to the amount paid, which can be applied toward a future session with us. Additionally, free rescheduling options are available if needed. All payments made for sessions, including weddings or other events, are non-refundable as per my business policy.
WHAT IS YOUR TURNAROUND TIME?
Per contract:
PORTRAITS: 1-2 weeks
WEDDINGS: 6-8 WEEKS
WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU CANNOT MAKE IT TO OUR WEDDING?
In the rare event of illness, travel delay, or an unforeseen emergency, rest assured: you're still in good hands.
Because we operate as a team, one of our trusted associate photographers will step in seamlessly; someone trained in our style, approach, and commitment to intentional storytelling. Your day will be captured with the same care and quality you expected from the start.
DO YOU POSE US?
Don’t overthink it—these sessions are all about fun! I use natural posing prompts to guide you, ensuring we capture candid-like moments that reflect your love. You’ll feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the session, and I’ll make sure we get a mix of joyful, genuine images.
CAN YOU HOLD OUR DATE?
Unfortunately, we cannot hold any dates without a signed contract and deposit.
To secure your date, a 30% non-refundable retainer is required at the time of booking for all weddings.
To secure your portrait session, a $75 non-refundable retainer fee is required to lock in your session.
DO YOU TRAVEL AND IS THERE A FEE?
Yes! Our team offers travel for weddings and destination sessions both in and out of state, including international bookings.
For locations within 70 miles of Dallas, travel is billed at $0.84 per mile.
For destinations beyond 70 miles or outside the DFW area, a $250 flat travel fee applies, plus $0.84 per mile.
Out-of-state and international travel is absolutely available, and pricing may vary depending on your date, location, and coverage needs.
In some cases, travel fees can be partially or fully waived, especially for destination weddings or bucket-list locations. Contact us to see if your celebration qualifies!
