Passion Is the Common Thread: From Protests to Proposals, I Photograph What Moves Us

You might have seen a shift in my feed lately. One day I’m sharing an engagement session where two people hold hands under soft light. The next day, I’m posting photos of protestors dancing in the streets or holding signs that speak of heartbreak and hope. It might seem like two different worlds, but for me, they are deeply connected.
At the center of everything I photograph is one thing: passion.
When I started taking photos, it was never about creating the perfect image. It was about real moments. Emotions that speak for themselves. I found that in weddings. I found that in protests. I find that every time I lift my camera and choose to see the story unfolding in front of me.
Weddings are not just pretty days. They are sacred. They are full of meaning and movement and small, fleeting moments that deserve to be remembered. The way a groom exhales when he sees his bride. The way a mother buttons her daughter’s dress with trembling hands. The way two people look at each other after being pronounced husband and wife. There is nothing passive about love. It is active. Intentional. Bold.
And so is protest.
It might seem like an unusual connection, but the truth is, I photograph both for the same reason. Because I care deeply about the story. I care about what matters to people. I care about what moves them.
As a Dallas-based wedding and engagement photographer, I want every couple who works with me to feel seen. I want your photos to feel honest and full of life. Whether you are planning an elegant wedding, a cozy in-home session, or an outdoor engagement shoot that feels like an adventure, I want your images to reflect the real you. No forced smiles. No stiff poses. Just genuine connection.
If you have been following along for a while, you know I wear many hats. I am a wedding photographer. I am a photojournalist. I am someone who chases the heart of a moment, whether that moment is a first kiss or a raised fist.
Because in the end, love is love. Passion is passion. And stories are meant to be told.
If you are searching for a wedding or engagement photographer in Dallas or beyond, I would be honored to capture your story.
Let’s create something real together.
